In order to keep creative activities enjoyable for both fans and creators, it's possible that pixiv may cancel or block the sending of requests and/or fan letters, depending on their content.
We apologize for the inconvenience but please thoroughly review the content of your requests and fan letters before sending them.
Examples of prohibited conduct that may result in the cancelation of the request
- The content of the request results obscure to a third party.
If the content of a request cannot be made out from the submitted text (e.g. "AAAAAAAAA", "About that thing we discussed", "I'll send you the details via DM","As discussed here URL: ~~~"), the transaction will be considered as a personal money transfer and the request may be canceled.
If you post links to reference materials in the content of your request, you must ensure that the content is easily interpreted by a third party and makes the general content of your request clear.
Although the Requests Guidelines prohibit any prior consultation regarding the request, please transcribe all the details of the request even if they have already been discussed.
However, rest assured that the request will not be canceled if the text is short but understandable by a third party or if the content is intentionally obscure because it leaves a certain degree of freedom to the creator. - Sending requests to yourself
Please note that sending requests to yourself by using multiple accounts or otherwise abusing the Requests feature for the purpose of fraudulent payments or money laundering may result in the cancellation of the request or suspension of your account. - Inappropriate age restriction settings
Requests that are substantially R-18 or R-18G in nature but do not have R-18 or R-18G checked may be canceled.
Please be sure to check the R-18 or R-18G box when requesting R-18 or R-18G content. However, please note that you may not be able to send R-18 or R-18 requests depending on your region and viewing settings. Thank you for your understanding. -
Items in violation of public order and standards of decency, laws and ordinances, or other standards set forth by the Company
If the content of a request falls under transactions prohibited by the Terms of Use, the request may either be canceled or set to Private.
What items and transactions are prohibited under the Terms of Use?
We cannot provide individual responses on whether a specific request falls under the prohibited transactions category. Thank you for your understanding.
