On pixiv, the view count includes both views on the Work Details page and views from Home and the Following page, which are counted when someone displays that work for a certain amount of time on either of the pages.
As a result, your view count may increase in the following situations:
- Your work is displayed and viewed frequently on Home
- Your work is viewed on Home without its Work Details page being opened
- Your work attracts a great deal of attention
This is expected behavior and is not a bug.
The identities of those who viewed a work are not shown to its creator or anyone else.
