If an error message is displayed when you send a verification code
Please confirm that you have entered the verification code correctly. Also, verification codes expire, so make sure you input the most recent verification code you received before it expires.
If you have multiple verification codes from your authentication app, make sure not to enter the verification code for a different account by mistake.
To secure your account, if you make too many failed attempts at entering your code, you will be locked out of your account even if you do eventually enter the correct code. In this case, please try again the next day.
If you cannot use your authentication app because your device has been lost or broken
If you are unable to use your verification app because your device is lost or broken, you can use a backup code to log in instead. Once you successfully log in, please change your two-factor authentication settings via the settings page immediately.
In addition, if there are other browsers you have set as trusted browsers and can already log into without using two-factor authentication, you can also reset your authentication app from those browsers.
If you cannot find your authentication app
If you're using an iPhone running iOS 15 or later, two-factor authentication may be set up in the built-in Passwords app.
