From the two-factor authentication settings page, follow the instructions on the screen to set up an authentication app.

The setting procedure is as follows.
- You will need an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. If you haven't installed one yet, please download it on your device.

On this page, we will use Google Authenticator as an example.
- Access the two-factor authentication settings page from your Account Portal, or from the URL below.

- You will be asked to confirm your pixiv account. Once confirmed, the two-factor authentication settings page will be displayed. Next, tap the "Enable" button.
- A 2D code will be displayed on the settings page. While leaving the settings page open, open your authentication app and tap the + button at the bottom right of the page. From the menu displayed, open the camera app, and scan the 2D code displayed on the settings page.
When a verification code is displayed in your authentication app, click the "Next" button on the settings page.
If you can't read the 2D code on the same device while you're using it, tap "My 2D code won't scan" on the settings page.
In your authentication app, open the Secret Key input page, then copy and input both the "Account" and the "Secret Key" items from the settings page. Next, leave the "Time-based" option as-is, and tap the "Add" button.
When a verification code is displayed in your authentication app, click the "Next" button on the settings page.
- Input the 6-digit code displayed in the authentication app, then tap the "Confirm" button. In the following example, we will input the code "105528".
If multiple verification codes are displayed in your authentication app, please enter the code corresponding to the account you newly added.
If you are doing the whole procedure on the same device, you can tap the verification code to copy it.
- Two-factor authentication is now enabled. Backup codes that you can use if your device is lost or broken will be displayed. Please download them or take a screenshot, then store them in a safe location.
