Manual translation allows creators to provide their own translations of their works' titles and captions for each language.
Creators can choose which of the supported languages they want to provide translations for.
You can add manual translations from the work posting or editing page.
- Under "Translation settings" on the posting or editing page, check "Manual translation".
- Select the language you want to translate into from the "Select language" dropdown.
- Click "Add translation".
- Enter your translation.
To add translations in other languages, select another language from "Select language" and enter the translation.
Translations entered manually by the creator will appear just like regular titles and captions. When a title or caption has a manual translation, the Translate option for automatic translation will not appear.
Any English translations previously added through the trial "Add English translation" feature will be carried over as manual translations.
