If you're having trouble registering your credit card, please check the following.
If none of these work, please contact the service through its inquiry form and include a screenshot of the error with your message.
1.Double-check your card information
Check for errors in the information you entered, such as the card number or expiration date. Verify that all information has been entered correctly before trying again.
2.There may be an issue with the card you're using
You may see an error message and be unable to register your card due to one of the following.
- You're trying to use a card that isn't supported.
- Accepted cards may vary depending on the service. Please refer to the help page for each service to check which cards are supported.
- The card has expired.
- The card is not set up for 3D Secure 2.0, or does not support it.
- To learn more about 3D Secure 2.0, click here.
- For setup instructions or compatibility, please contact the card issuer (check the number on the back of your card).
3.There may be an issue with your environment
If your browser is not up to date or your internet connection is unstable, card registration may fail. Please check your environment and try again.
4.The card is already registered on multiple pixiv accounts
If you see the error message: "The card you are using is already registered to another pixiv account. The same credit card cannot be registered to more than one pixiv account, so please use a different card or payment method." try using an alternative card or payment method.
To prevent fraudulent activity, the same credit card cannot be registered to more than a certain number of pixiv accounts.
Even if you remove the card from an existing account, you still won't be able to use it on a new one.
5.Your card issuer has placed a restriction
If none of the above applies but you're still getting an error, your card issuer may have temporarily restricted or placed your card on hold.
Please contact the card issuer (check the number on the back of your card) for more information.
Examples of possible restrictions:
- Unusual activity was detected, and the card was temporarily put on hold.
- A large purchase or several payments in a row triggered a temporary block.
- The issuer needs to verify whether the card is being used by the account holder.
